Why was I laughing like a demented witch (that’s nothing unusual for me I hear you cry) because Steve Arbour and Tim Farmer from The Cut Theatre Company came in to talk about their innovative slant on the Fawlty Towers experience. This has to be a must for not only fans of the original show, (can you believe there were only 12 Fawlty Tower episodes) or anyone who wants to have a fabulously hilarious evening and a dining experience.

The idea behind the evening is this. You attend a restaurant (yes it’s a real life restaurant and this event is taking place in Essex (Billericay) Kent, London and other locations) and you are served your meal by the staff of Fawlty Towers, all in character, that’s Basil, Sybil and Manuel! It’s all very interactive, ad libs and judging by Tim Farmer’s performance today on the show (he plays Basil Fawlty) it will be a side splitting. This wonderful evening has all been put together by Director Steve Arbour of The Cut Theatre Company.
My advice, don’t eat too much in one go or you will be danger of choking on a bread roll due to laughing too much.
Have a listen back to the interview with Steve and Tim, its brilliant.
