Doug, Sandra and Stuart from Rant ‘n’ Rave were my studio guests tonight. The Americana-influenced band were originally formed around 20 years ago as a covers band under a different name and line-up, but last year released their first album of original material, Americana Shakedown. After a return to the live scene this week, the band (also featuring Kieran on guitar and Ron on drums) can next be seen live at the Railway Hotel, Southend on September 5th and at the Havering Staff Social Club, Hornchurch on September 10th, with many more live shows to follow.
