Back after my brief soirée to France, why not have an early Summer holiday?!…

It made sense to me to do ‘The Top 5 Things About Our Cousins the French and their ‘Bon’ Country’…

The wonders of Sky+ meant that I was able to catch up on the Glasto Highlight a week later, so I played some of my highlight tracks from the festival, as well as a few French themed ones too.

I return to our great country with all the TV you could want to watch waiting for me, angry about the state of British roads – and with another cold from a European Swimming Pool.

Here it is then, a definitive list, the best bits about France and the French….

1. Much more space, and quiet spots.
2. Loads of cheap wine being made and drunk
3. They produce nice dood – especially cheeses.
4. Good names ie. Jean-Luc my new bro-mance (a French restauranteur)
5. General laissez-faire mentality – particularly on health and safety issues.

A close 6th place goes to ‘they like to sit around on benches’ – why don’t British people just sit around thinking? (The weather probably)
