Today branch vice chairman, Alan Jefcoate, was along to tell us about charity events both past and forthcoming which show local people are still digging deep into their pockets despite the country’s economic situation. In particular we look forward to a music festival at the Brentwood Centre 8th-10th July. Today also saw a reunion between girl Tuesday Rebecca Clarke and myself, with absences of both parties meaning it’s been a few weeks since we’ve both been on air together – just as well as I didn’t get any sleep last night working a night shift so she was able to prod me if I went to doze off.
