More big changes at Billericay Town

More signficant changes at the AGP Arena! Billericay Town owner Glenn Tamplin has revealed changes to the team kit and backroom staff along with seven summer signings, with possibly more one on the way.

Speaking to the Sun, Glenn announced the seven new players to be:

Robbie Evans, 21 – Wrexham midfielder who captained the team to the FA Trophy in 2013
Matt Paine – 28 – ex-Colchester Utd trainee and Boreham Wood defender
Ricky Modeste – 29, ex-Chelmsford City winger signed from Dover
Danny Waldren, 27 – Welling midfielder
Dan Walker, 27 – Welling forward
Josh Urquhart, 26 – Wealdstone defender and former West Ham and Northampton Town youth player
Louie Theophanus, 25 – Chelmsford striker who has not only scored dozens of goals over the last three seasons but has also worked as a body double for Cristiano Ronaldo!

He also announced ex-Leyton Orient and Barnet boss Ian Hendon is to join the team as the new Director of Football and MMA heavyweight champion Neil “Goliath” Grove is to become the new Head of Nutrition.

Glenn also tweeted a picture of a kit redesign, which shows a new graduated darker blue hoop motif as opposed to a plain royal blue. Billericay solicitors Paul Robinson are to remain kit sponsor for 2017/18.
