Tonight I was joined in the studio by Darren and John from The Long Run. The Canvey Island quintet (also featuring Stewart, Ryan and Gavin) formed eight years ago and have been regulars on the Essex circuit since. We heard a couple of tracks from their most recent album, Showed Him How to Dance, alongside a live session featuring some new tracks. Inbetween recording their next release, the band can be seen at the Banned For life festival in Old Leigh on July 13th, as well as an appearance at Brentwood Festival on July 19th, where they can be seen on the Marquee stage.
