It was a pleasure to have Purple Yellow Daze in the studio last Friday playing live. They describe themselves as a “studio, funk, retro, hippy, pop band”. Purple Haze is the lead singer, Lindy Lou on b.v.s, JC, Corner and Martin Maypole are on keyboards, drums and guitar. I must also point out at this stage, all with exception of Lindy are raving mad. 🙂 Oh I must include Eric the cameraman, who was I believe is also totally sane.
I was shocked to see during the live set, Purple Haze’s moustache fell over as he kicked over the microphone stand whilst singing. Lindy Lou sprang into action grabbing his tash and mic stand so he could continue to sing and play guitar.
Honestly, great fun and these guys are all seasoned musicians.
