… and that’s why The Promise returned to the Breakfast Show as my Friday House Band.
I like these boys. They have worked hard since their first appearance back in October last year and it is really starting to pay off for them. In recent months they have sold out The Square in Harlow (Coldplay, Oasis & Biffy Clyro have played here, just to name a few) recorded their debut E.P and shot their first music video.
We shared exclusive’s with each other this morning. Management sent over their new video to premiere to the boys in the studio, not going to lie, very impressed and they threw an exclusive right back at me and gave me the first play of their brand new single anywhere in the world.
They also treated us to 3 tracks – ‘I am, What I am’ ‘Get Me Up’ & an amazing cover version of Bruno Mars ‘The Lazy Song’ – check out the live session below
