NYFW & Predictions

New York Fashion Week
NYFW had designers busy showcasing their autumn / winter 2012
collections and predicting what we shall all be wearing by the end of this year. The key trends for women that stood out were lace,
leather and fur. With some designers like Herve Leger keeping with the body con look but introducing a more dominatrix approach to the otherwise classic look. Key colours coming through were black, brown, burgundy and creams. Keep a look out for this filtering though onto the highstreet.

Budget Tip:

Try varying the way you mix and match your clothes. This can create a new look for free.
Even the plainest items can look amazing when put together well. For example, the smallest alterations, such as the roll of a cuff, or the turn-up of a collar, can also make a big difference to your overall look.

The Fashion Zone Hotlist:

1) Classic White Shirt

2) Clutch Bag

3) Bright Coloured jeans

4) High top / high heeled sneakers

5) Psychedelic prints

Playlist included:

The Knocks ft Mandy Lee – Midnight City (M83 Cover)

Sandy Rivera – Take Me Back

Black Van – Yearning

Kaskade – It’s You, It’s Me

Foster The People – Call It What You Want (Planet of Sound Remix)

Madeon – Shuriken

Vanbot – Maybe (Niva Remix)
