Brentwood & District Photographic Club exhibtion

The exhibition contains 45 prints from BDPC members reflecting all the main genres of photography – portrait, landscape, street, still life and abstract. In addition, copies of most of the prints are available to purchase under a scheme called “Supporting Ukraine through photography”, an idea initiated by the Royal Photographic Society. Romford Film Festival

The festival is now in its sixth year and runs from 19-25 May, screening movies ranging from first-time filmmakers to some of the most established names on the independent film circuit. This year you can also attend a plethora of events - including free industry talks, film-linked Q&A's and of course the red carpet awards ceremony at the end of the festival where you can find out who the 13 award-winners will be. Barn Dance

The Essex Wildlife Trust will be holding a Barn Dance on Friday 3 June at Bardswell Social Club. Dance the night away to the music of leading Essex folk band ‘Bushes & Briars’. Expert tuition will be provided and people of all abilities are welcome. It will be a fun evening for all ages. Please arrive shortly after 7.00 pm for a 7.30 pm start. A cash bar will be provided in the hall. Tickets are £20.00 each and include a jacket potato supper. Non-members are most welcome.
