Great Wakering Rovers progressed to the semi-finals of the Isuzu FA Vase with a 2-0 victory over Falmouth Town yesterday.
Harry Talbot broke the deadlock for the hosts on 65 minutes before he doubled their advantage from the spot with ten minutes remaining.
Having progressed past Basildon Town, Buckhurst Hill, St Neots Town, Downham Town, Fakenham Town, Whitchurch Alport and Highworth Town, Marcus Bowers’ side are now only one game away from the final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 11th May.
Another Essex Senior League outfit, Romford, made it to the semi-finals following a 1-0 win over North Greenford United.
The draw for the semi-finals of the FA Vase takes place on talkSPORT2 from 3:15pm tomorrow and ties are set to take place on Saturday 6th April.
