The Nightshift – Hannah Blaylock

Hannah Blaylock is an award-winning Country & Americana singer/songwriter. She released her first solo LP Bandit Queen, in Austin, TX with award winning producer Martin Strayer & The Dixie Chicks in 2017 and has just released a new project “The Fall and Rise” in 2024. She has had an extensive touring career making 20+ appearances on The Grand Ole Opry and has embarked on 4 major national country music tours opening for artists such as Little Big Town, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley & Rascal Flatts. As a songwriter, she has had cuts such as Reba McEntire’s Grammy nominated album title track “Stronger Than The Truth,” Sunny Sweeney’s #2 Americana album title track “Married Alone” (duet with Vince Gill), and top 20 charted hit single “Amen” which she also sang and performed in her former band, Edens Edge.

On last night’s broadcast, I joined Hannah in the release of her new LP The Fall & Rise, how she addresses southern sexuality on the record and the aim of making a modern, timeless record.
