Geezers, Pleasers & Cheesers
It was the last Geezers, Pleasers and Cheesers of the month, so as has become our tradition, we played a few rounds of ‘Which Chart Wins Your Heart?’ This is where we play a couple of tracks from each of the corresponding years in the 70s and 80s and you decide if you’re a 70s groover or an 80s mover. This week we featured the years between 1971/81 to 1977/87.
During those years the Geezers included Sparks, Depeche Mode and Sly Fox. While among the Pleasers we found Tavares, Prince and Hue & Cry. Not to be outdone (are they ever?) the Cheesers included The Three Degrees, Typically Tropical and Blancmange.
