I have to admit I’m a bit old fashion when it comes to enjoying films or Movies*; however, you prefer to label. There is something about the impact you get from a big screen as opposed to the convenience of watching something on a Television screen, no matter how good your own home TV arrangement is, it’s different. Yes, you can’t pause at the cinema or you have to occasionally put up with knuckleheads who can’t seem to switch off for a film one session of their life. But for me seeing a new film in a Cinema does still take me away from regular daily life and occasionally you get that extra buzz of an audience of strangers reacting as you do to something entertaining, which can be so life-affirming at times. Now, I’ve just seen for example the new and final of the Indiana Jones movie franchise and the latest iteration of Mission Impossible, both being classic cinema fare and the latter being what I felt to be a stunning rollercoaster ride which, I hope it will translate to TV viewing and feels as half as enjoyable, then great but yes, for now with the second Dune epic on his way and Oppenheimer next on my cinema-going list. I say, Vive le cinéma, vive la différence!
Whilst on the subject, Chatbit asked, what big-time movie have you seen that you felt would be just as good on your TV or a film you wish you watched at the cinema the first time around?

And ACTION: This week we had new music from Eden – The Stir Fry Pop Star – Edward Spark & Kiffie – B2P – Stefan Certic – Donovan Silver – From Apes To Angels, Feat’ Maisie May, plus a brand new remix cover from One Of The Crowd and more blockbusting tunes.

Blog note*: Although the words “film” and “movie” are sometimes used interchangeably, “film” is more often used when considering artistic, theoretical, or technical aspects. The term “movies” more often refers to entertainment or commercial aspects, such as where to go for a fun evening on a date.
