I dare say a lot of people may be taking the annual break now or their second or perhaps planning that. To be honest with the current weather at the moment it is enough to confuse the idea, as we have had, what looks to me like a right moist Summer so far. Still, it is all part of the joy of living in the UK, planning, you have to plan or be adaptable in this here UK life.
On adaptability, Take the language we speak in the UK- English, we have lots of variations on words, regional, class-based and age-group-based variations and add to that the influences of others who we had exported English to; albeit not parrot fashion it seems. Nameless the good old USA, who now influences our modern version of English the most; in my opinion.
