Great to kick off a new season of interviews with Roger Griffiths from FMB! FMB were a band who formed in 1990 at Lancaster University by Roger and his friends Rags and Jeffers. Alex and Milo joined later before the band moved to London. They played gig with bands like The Wonder Stuff, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, EMF and Carter USM, and also appeared in The Next Big Thing – an 8-part reality TV show on Channel 4 (when there was no such thing as reality TV).
The band sadly split – but they’re back together now and making music again, and Roger told us all about it.
You can find the band on Facebook and Bandcamp – and watch all the episodes of The Next Big Thing on their YouTube channel too.
