The joys of age and life lurched on me again, as I had somehow put my back out doing some really trivial DIY, but luckily, as I type, my back feels a little better a week later; thanks to a lovely new Osteopath. It was a bit of a wake-up call for all the years of exercise or activities where I never did much in the way of warm-ups, granted I am not a sporty person but I have done my fair share and yes I did injure my back middle of last year, and yes the pre-Christmas slippery snowfall was dodgy on my regular walking pastime- like being Bambi on Ice. Yet, the big takeaway for me is to look after your back and plan to warm up.
As the saying goes ‘fail to plan means plan to fail’ is the phrase on my mind. Last week I planned but on-air I didn’t do the following planned chatbit, so I had wondered what saying or phrase is in your head at the mo, most if any?
