1987: Debut of the Saturday morning children’s show Going Live! on BBC1, presented by Phillip Schofield and Sarah Greene. The show ran until April 1993 and featured the comedy duo Trevor & Simon as various characters including ‘The Sister Brothers’ who were a pair of rogue traders; a folk duo called ‘The Singing Corner’, and DJ Mick McMac and rave-goer Moon Monkey. The show had lots of 80’s musicians and bands appearing including Crowded House, Kylie & Jason, Five Star, Bananarama & Nik Kershaw
