The subject chosen by MARGARET MILLS this week concerned a reformatory school which was established at a farm house in HARLOW TYE.
The school existed for just 23 years, between 1856 and 1879 closing after a change in the law which meant that the boys who attended the school, who it was originally intended would benefit from doing work associated with agriculture, should instead receive industrial training.
