Another busy month ahead and maybe a bit of peace from Fireworks, we hope. Whilst getting on with my new day job I was reminded of some of the oddly named places in London, and it made me wonder again on how some got their names. I visited a place in south London, called Elephant and Castle today, which started me re-thinking about its name, so I felt I had to do a bit of name origin research on that place name- the answer is in this week’s podcast.
