006 – The As Yet Untitled Rock Show

It was our 6th weekly celebration of rock and we did it in as much style as ever. We relived some golden oldies that we hadn’t heard in a long time – Black Betty and Radar Love to name just two – then we sampled some new music from The Amazons, Ocean Flaws, Gary Clark Jr & The Black Keys. We also heard a legendary guitarist from a legendary band going solo and enjoyed one of the greatest ever covers.

We saluted Radiohead’s Thom York for his reaction to having his music held for ransom, paid tribute to the latest Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame entrants, Def Leppard and we definitely didn’t play a song in any way related to the M25 sinkhole. Plus I confessed my star struck silence when I very nearly met my childhood hero Brian May.
