On Phoenix Sport this week we heard from Leigh Bailey, our new Billericay Town correspondent, as he travelled back from the Blues’ impressive 1-1 draw at Chesterfield.

We also learned some of the more ridiculous clauses included in footballers’ contracts, took a trip across the pond for a round-up of American sports and kept tabs on an agonisingly close game between England and New Zealand at Twickenham.

Aside of that, the goals flew in – especially in the Championship – and we had a host of new music, as well as classics from the likes of Foo Fighters, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Squeeze.
