This week it would seem there is more pitch fever ala World cup 2018 thingie… yes I niether know nor care; apart from when theres a match on during my show, and my listener didn’t supply an absence note. But as you may know I’m not a sport person, more a music anorak type. So in my little chat feature, we spoke a little about the recent BBCFOUR documentry about Birmingham’s finest- Duran Duran, and how they were recanting the trials and tribulations of their success days and yet they seemed to neglect some bit of information or attempt to clarify. Because I was made aware of an early demo with a different vocalist and yet this wasn’t even hinted to- I played a rare Duran Duran demo to illustrate the said, Mystery Vocalist. Yes I’m not a Duranie either, so maybe the facts are all well known.

On the regular subject of new music, we had more new belters to share this week, as we introduced  a re-release from Eden and heard brand new singles from  Hemmingway – Nius X – Jigsaw Sequence – Uno Prism – Stereo In Solo – Lixiviath. Plus a voxless, which was a Depeche Mode unofficial rework of a classic track, Some cool remixes and more synth gems along the way.
