Premier Division
Frenford’s 3-2 win over May & Baker E.C. sees them leapfrog the Barking-based club to take the top spot in the table. A Luke Woodward brace plus a goal from Bradley Nobbs made sure of the points. James Barlow and Petrit Elbi scored the May & Baker goals but defeat now sees them drop down to third. White Ensign are up to second after a 3-0 win over Bishop’s Stortford Swifts. Luke Skinner scored twice with Liam Sewell notching the other goal. Catholic United beat Leigh Ramblers 3-0, while Manford Way also won on the road as they beat Springfield 2-0 courtesy of a Reece Tranter brace.
Division One
Great Baddow cut Buckhurst Hill’s lead to a solitary point after a 3-2 win at Shenfield AFC. Naveen Arain (2) and Jack Mead were the marksmen, however Great Baddow have played two games more than Buckhurst Hill. Will Marlowe and Garren Hammerton supplied the Shenfield goals. Old Southendian were held to a 2-2 draw by bottom-placed Runwell Sports. Stuart Judd and Lewis Groves scored the Old Southendian goals, while Charlie Adams scored both the Runwell goals. Snaresbrook returned to winning ways at FC Hamlets as Daniel Tesfay and Boateng Agyemang notched the goals that secured a 2-1 win. FC Hamlets replied with a Pa Jagne goal.
Division Two
May & Baker E.C. Res fell behind to a Ben Foord goal in the opening minute. However May & Baker were awarded a penalty in the second half, which also saw the Benfleet keeper given his marching orders, from which Carl Patten fired home to equalise. May & Baker E.C. remain second after this result, five points behind Herongate Athletic but with a game in hand over the leaders. Toby stretch their unbeaten run to nine after a 3-3 draw with Rayleigh Town Res. David Major, Richie Harvey and Leroy Sackey-Adoo scored the Toby goals, with Rayleigh replying with a Ricky Gill brace plus an effort from Alex Witham. Billy Atim and James Miah scored the Ryan goals, but the bottom placed outfit ended the game pointless as Newham United went on to win the game 3-2.
Division Three
Shoebury Town kept themselves firmly in the promotion zone after a 3-0 win was secured at Frenford Res. Aaron Clark, Scott Clark and Kirk Hudson scored the goals that keep their side firmly in second position, with a five point deficit on leaders Manford Way Res. but opening up an eight point advantage over third placed Hutton Res. who lost 4-1 at home to Beacon Hill Rovers. Hutton Res. scored their goal via Joshua Ogunkanmi but they were gunned down by Zach Armstrong who scored twice with Samuel Winney and Ren Bearman also notching. Old Chelmsfordians Res. secured a 2-0 home win over Harold Wood Athletic Res. thanks to Martin Mixture and Harry Green finding the target.
