Springfield move to the top of the table after a 4-0 win at Basildon Town. Jamie Doyle, Josh White, Alfie Halliday and Robbie Clarke were all on the score sheet for the defending Premier Division Champions. Basildon Town remain at the foot of the table and are also starting to be cast adrift from the teams above them. May & Baker E.C. let the leadership slip after a 5-1 defeat at Kelvedon Hatch. Brad Ling scored twice as the league leaders suffered their second defeat on the bounce and defeat was made even more bitter as they went on to concede further goals from George Saunders, Chris Neville and Ben Gardner.  Harold Wood Athletic leapfrog Bishop’s Stortford Swifts into third place after a 3-1 win that was secured thanks o strikes from Matthew Donovan, Connor Hartwell and Chas Liddard. Gavin Cockman scored the Swifts reply and they end the day in sixth as Catholic United move up to fourth after they  beat Manford Way 3-1 with Dan Williams, Harley Kee and Brad Williams all scoring, while Conor Duffy scored the goal that secured a slender 1-0 win for Frenford at Rayleigh Town which moves them up to fifth. Conor Barmby, Luke Skinner, Liam Sewell and Lloyd Wilson all put their names on the score sheet as White Ensign registered a 4-0 home win over Canning Town.

 

Division One

Buckhurst Hill remain top after winning an incredible game with Newbury Forest. Buckhurst Hill had their keeper sent off after only twenty minutes but took the lead through Jose Espinoza. The lead was held for a mere minute as Adam Hunt equalised straight from re-start, aiming a bullet shot that crashed into the net to get his side back on level terms in outstanding fashion. Espinoza however secured the points with an 89th minute penalty which won the game 2-1 in Buckhurst Hill’s favour. Hutton move up to second after a 5-1 win over Old Chelmsfordians. A Dan Carpenter brace was added to by strikes from Nick Carpenter, Tom Price and Keelan O’Donovan. Defeat at Great Baddow means that Sungate have now lost their last two league games and drop down to third as a result. Dane Nelson scored a hat-trick with Grant Hill also notching in Great Baddow’s 4-1 away success. Jake Clarke scored the Sungate reply. There was also a hat trick for Liam Snellin as Shenfield AFC put Snaresbrook to the sword with a 6-1 away win. Josh Sumner (2) and Ben Stanton were the other marksmen with Mitchell Collymore supplying the Snaresbrook goal. Matt Wilson and a 30 yard screamer from Connor Lane placed Old Southendian in the driving seat against FC Hamlets. But the visitors drew level thanks to goals from Ishmael Carter and Charlie Heatly. Runwell Sports picked up a welcome three points as the bottom club beat Harold Hill. Charlie Adams was the scorer in the 1-0 Runwell win.

Herongate Athletic remain top of the table after unleashing their guns against a shell-shocked Rochford Town. Glen Jordan scored five times as his team went on to win 15-2 with braces being scored by Scott Mortlock, Chris Carr, Callum Palmer and Ben Lambert. Lee Henry and Lee Atkinson rounded up the Herongate scoring with Adrian Greenfield notching both the Rochford replies. Paul Tiffen scored both Ongar Town’s goals in a 2-1 win over Benfleet which moves them up to second. Sonny Hartman scored the Benfleet goal. A Richard Bishops brace wasn’t enough to secure Ramsden Scotia any points at A1 Sports. The Thurrock-based club went on to win the game 3-1 courtesy of a Rodney Sarsah-Wilson brace plus an own goal. Darren Seymour, Charlie Tricker and Kane Messenger score a goal apiece for May & Baker E.C. Res. as they beat Upminster 3-0. Rayleigh Town Res. beat Newham United 4-2 with goals from Tom Preddy, Glen Warwick, Sam Bowden and Charlie Legg cancelling out the goals Newham United scored via Nick Reed and Hamzy Jomanday.  Arron Watson-McNab, Junior Bammeke and David Major are the Toby scorers in a 3-1 win over Ryan. Krzysztof Golebiowski scored the Ryan consolation.

Manford Way Res. open up a five point lead after a 4-0 home win over White Ensign Res. Harold Wood Athletic Res. win by the same score line at Roydon as a Sam Bissue brace is added to by additional strikes from Chris Pope and Darren Wettner. Frenford Res. beat Debden Sports 1-0 with Daniel Reeve supplying the goal; while Old Chelmsfordians win by the same slender score line with Martin Mixture scoring the goal that defeats Hutton Res.
