On this week’s Feelgood Saturday I was joined by two purrrrrfect guests… Edna and Jacqui from Pussycat Lodge. It’s a Brentwood-based charity that rescues cats and kittens and they can have up to 100 cats in their care at any one time. Edna is one of the fosterers who helps take care of homeless kitties until they are ready to move on to a new home and Jacqui is the co-ordinator (the boss!).
We talked all things feline – hearing all about the great work the charity do to rescue cats and their specialism in dealing with “hissy, spitty ferals!”, which are great for catching mice. We also If you’d like to know more do pop along to their open day on Sunday 3rd September. We also answered listeners’ cat questions – finding out that cats are not too different from people really – they mainly just need love and attention!
