Travellers using Southern rail are fairly used to disruptions so they probably greeted the news last Saturday afternoon of delays to services on the London to Uckfield line, with resignation.
On this occasion however there was a good valid reason which followed the invasion of Hever station by 60 cows who crowded on to the platform.
I hope they bought platform tickets!
Network rail response staff attended and spent some considerable time trying to herd the cattle back to their pastures.
I guess they should get a pat on the back for their efforts!
