Brentwood’s first Business Showcase event, held today at the Brentwood Centre, proved to be a great success with over 500 people in attendance.
The showcase was set up as an opportunity to promote local businesses, visit exhibitors, network with others and meet new customers and suppliers.
Organised by Brentwood Borough Council, and sponsored by Wortley Byers Law, the showcase featured key speakers including Crossrail’s Surface Director Matthew White, who spoke about Crossrail coming to the area and how this will transform Brentwood’s business environment, and Nick Kay of St Modwen Developments Ltd, who spoke about the Strategic Development Plan for Brentwood Enterprise Park and why it is the new place to do business.
Other speakers included Judy Hoskins from the Women In Business Network, Laurie Edmonds from Local By Social and Russell Quirk from eMoov.
