Last month I attended the launch of a new collaboration between Essex County Council and various arts, culture and heritage bodies here at County Hall in Chelmsford.
The Council has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration with the Arts Council to ensure that more funds are pumped into county projects.
I spoke to Cllr John Spence, Essex County Council Cabinet Member with responsibility for Heritage, Culture and the Arts, who gave more details about the council’s plans.
