Seems to be quite a sunny spring time so far, which we all like, mind you the sun has gone in by the time the show goes to air. We had more new tracks along with a few classics to delight the ear bits this week, as we heard new from Gravity Slip, US Band PreCog, Inertia and Tiny Magnetic Pets – some nice light and shade in that selection.

The weekend just gone, I attended a great recreation of the 1986 Depeche Mode Album, Black Celebration by the band Speak and Spell. Who lovingly recreated this 30 year old classic album live, and before the took to the stage, I got to chat with all the guys about the task of recreating such an album live, the joy, the challenges. I also threw a synth geek type spanner in the works and we spoke of curtains and a new dress….. intrigued?
