The Electro Works

Synth City Banner

Yet another  busy fun gig weekend just gone, and this time it was in London at the cult venue the Electrowerkz, which has so much character and charm- and an old tube train. I got to DJ there at an event where four bands held court: Electro London presents Massive Ego. Electrowerkz TubeThe opener was Rodney Cromwell, who had them eating out of his hats…. there was the Punky electro rock of Johnny Normal and the dark synth wave that is The Department. All capped off nicely by the flamboyant and dark sexy, that is Massive Ego…a feast for the eyes and ears that night- ‘ooh matron.

On this weeks love show we had more new music, this time from three bands- two who are new to me and one who had a name change. We heard new tracks from Sol Flare and From Apes to Angels, the former under the Stars, debut exclusively to my show their new name and Single- they are Helix Pulsar. In the show I did squeeze in a atmospheric Depeche Mode cover from an australian band and posed the question about how you act at gigs/club nights….. do you find a spot and hold court or do you prowl about?.

If You missed the live show, which as a whole lot more then I say here, then why not catch up with this little old rerun via Mixcloud;
