It’s hospice care week

IMG_0235Whilst deputising for Michelle Ward last Friday, I had the pleasure of talking with LESLEY BURROWS of St Frances Hospice about HOSPICE CARE WEEK.

As this event is taking place all this week, I thought it would be a good idea to give you a second chance to hear what this is all about and of the many things happening locally.

You can find out more about the week on Hospice UK’s website at https://www.hospiceuk.org/policy-campaigns/campaigns/hospice-care-week, and of course, the latest news from Saint Francis Hospice can be found at sfh.org.uk.

Grand Mere

Later in the show today, we heard about the man who cycled 250 miles just to get a supply of his wife’s favourite coffee. Either he must have done something really bad or maybe plans to, and so needed to build up a good supply of “brownie points”.

Right I’m off – but not that far!

See you again tomorrow,
Scott
