Well well well, At the weekend just gone I took myself off to the Seaside, to Brighton to catch the end of tour for Empathy Test and Vivien Glass. The two bands had played several big gigs around the country with a different local support at each. So their final show of their tour needed some magic and it had it in Buckets and Spades….. oh right I thought that was amusing. Opening up for them was none other then the award winning OMD supporting, Vile Electrodes. We were treated to lots of new material from them too and despite the concerns you get at a last day of a tour, it was to me a great night.

Always nice to have surprises and a special guest-  I had a peski fly in the studio. Anyway, new music on this weeks show came form a Remix from Jonteknik, and a remix of the new single from german duo Junksista. Who sang in German; which I kind find attractive… Also new to the show and also in native tongue, was a new welsh artist Gwenno. We had another Synth Legend and an Under Cover, plus news of a Phoenix Friday gig which will feature french band Under the Stars and those Vile Electrodes…

When/date? well your have to listen to my mixcloud show rerun below;
