It may well be a valentines weekend, but that had no real bearing on todays show. We did have the odd track with romance as an underline theme I guess. Thou we did also have some great new tracks too, from EmT , Voxtrot Alpha and Seadrake, plus a few classics tracks, as per.
On my chatty bit we spoke of dubious claims to fame. We looked back at the late Steve Strange, who passed away this week with a rerun of a March 2012 phone interview I had the privilege to make with him. Talking about his new side projects, the Visage album, his new autobiography and future plans- which he was on track with till his passing. It was odd playing back that interview and then playing Fade to Grey, which sounded so much more of a tune of melancholy then I recall…. RIP Stephan Harrington.
