First up tonight I was joined by our good buddies Scarlet Echo (me pictured above with Mitch, Hannah, Jamie and Alex). The foursome have just released a new single, Grey Haven, which is available as a free download from their website www.scarletecho.co.uk – the same place you can also download their previous single, Lose Control. The band plan to spend the next month writing new material before returning to the live circuit later in the year, but don’t forget you can still listen back to their Phoenix Fridays gig from last month here!

Next up it was the Phoenix FM debut of State Of The Art (l-r Tiago, Raymond, Dan, Elle). The foursome formed 2 years ago and have one EP available, Careless Confessions, alongside plenty of other random merchandise, as we found out – listen to the interview to find out more! They’re planning a new EP release in the new year, but in the meantime you can catch them playing their biggest show to date at the O2 Academy in Islington on November 28th. State Of The Art can be found on Facebook and YouTube. Click below to see them playing live in the studio!
