Off The Record: 3rd June

Last night’s show was full of features such as mashup and live track of the week, filled by Carlos Serrano & Paolo Nutini respectively. The album of the week could have gone to Pluto Jonze, but St. Paul & The Broken Bones stole that mantal with their incredible effort ‘Half This City’. Track of the week was awarded to Pure X for their chilled guitar orientated track ‘Starlight’.

With the World Cuo fast approaching I wanted to introduce a football orientated track or two, however slight the connection. My soft spot for Belgium led me to rekindle my love for Belgian electronic artists Highbloo & The Subs.

This weekend will be all about Field Day, so I made a short ‘Ones To Watch list’, including Tourist, Charlotte OC, Jon Hopkins & Sohn.

You are all incredible, thanks a bunch for listening. Make sure you have a browse of the PhoenixFM website.
