Packed show this week as my second guest on the show (Sunday 8th Dec) was popular TV, Film actor and writer Eddie Webber.
Eddie`s acting career spans an expressive 2 plus decades with parts in the bill, London’s Burning, causality, birds of a feather to name but a few, and mini series’ such as,Ch4`s lock stock ,right through to major film titles including, The Firm, Big fat Gypsy gangster, and Shifty, All personal favorites of mine so it was a pleasure to chat with Eddie about his latest project internet series `Power to the People` which was created, written and also stars Eddie along with an impressive cast list including;
Geoff Bell (Terry),
Danny Dyer (Cannon),
Roland Manookian (Arthur) all who worked with Eddie on Nick Love’s film ‘The Business’,
Andy Linden, Ricky Grover and Laila Morse (Mo from eastender and more recently Im a Celebrity) all of whom stared with Eddie on ‘Big fat Gypsy Gangster.
and
Johnny Palmerio (Benny the Shirt) on Ken Loach’s ‘It’s a Free World’.
Power to the People project or P.A.P?– The People’s Advocate Party consists of six mini episodes. Episodes 1 to 6.
The Plot;
Disgruntled labourer, Mickey (Eddie Webber) is fed up with todays politics, particularly in his local area of Bermondsey, South London. Mickey has an ‘epiphany’ and attempts to start a political party known as The People’s Advocate Party (P.A.P)
