Well it is often a busy show, but today had the added bonus of the Phoenix FM Creative sessions occurring- this is a mammoth event we organise for local unsigned bands/acts to come down and record a short set. Which we loving rebroadcast later on-air….this year we had Tenek and Republica….along with some bands who had only been together formally for a few months; in one case…. Such a great selections this year.

The Creative Sessions took place at the Brentwood centre, and was over Saturday and Sunday…Bands were interviewed live on air and you can listen again, as they are to be found on the main part of the website and soon we will have specially shot hi-res videos …..Please keep checking into the main site.

I can not resist posting this great new video from the band that Stormed Saturday REPUBLICA… Oh and I got a lovely hug and CD from the stunning Saffron… enjoy the bands new vid>

AS well as brand new songs on the air from Dean M Oldfield, and The March Violets…we also heard a great track from Johnny Normal…..

Plus special guest on the phone- As I got to chat to SPACEBUOY’s head of Orange- Howard Mott, and we chatted all about their new EP Breathe and their forthcoming gig in France at I-SYNTH 1.. and the creative process of the band.
