For this the first Saturday after the Easter break in an extended show, I was very fortunate to be joined by DREW LEVI, just one of the many artists and sports personalities appearing this weekend at THE ESSEX INDOOR FAMILY FESTIVAL right here at THE BRENTWOOD CENTRE. Drew also brought along brothers, Jordon and Conor Bailey who for the past 6 months have been working with him as his new band. Last time he came into see us, DREW was suffering with a really bad throat and so could not sing live for us, but today mercifully, although having only just recovered from another throat infection, we were treated to one of the songs from his new EP, BEST BRITISH SINGLE.
Conor is on drums and Jordon, a friend from school days, is the guitarist. Drew is still on the lookout for a bass player so if you are interested get in touch with Drew via his Facebook page. Listen to the song and the interview with DREW, JORDON and CONOR right here:
In addition Frances Clamp came by to talk about some pottery, uncovered around 40 years ago, dating back to
the first and second centuries.
If you missed it you can hear what Frances had to tell me right here: – [audio:https://www.phoenixfm.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Bygones-2nd-April2.mp3|titles=Bygones 2nd April]
Well that’s me done for another week. See you next week.
Keep smiling,
Scott
