Snow more I love you’s

Seemed like a full week of weather this week- Snow to Sunshine…. but we made it through ah. I don’t know about you but I’m getting rather used to the week of snow we seem to have like clock work after Chrimbo.

In the show today we took great delight in mentioning the fact that Low Tide Theory will be officially launching their debut single ‘To Begin again’ – on Jan 28th >> …after playing it for what seems months.

To Begin Again by LOW TIDE THEORY

And if that was enough…. Depeche Mode announce the release in March of their latest Album ‘DELTA MACHINE’

Depeche Mode’s new album- March 27th

The first single off the album is ‘HEAVEN’… Due out February 2nd.

My Comedy show picks for this week……

Mark Thomas — “Bravo Figaro” – 29th Jan 2013 • Leicester Square Theatre
Comedian and political activist Mark Thomas is best known for his political comedy, but now he’s turning his attention to matters closer to home with a show about his father. “Bravo Figaro” is the true tale.

Alun Cochrane, at the Comedy Store 31st Jan – 2nd Feb 2013 • Comedy Store
Alun Cochrane will be joining the Comedy Store Players for three nights of comedy improvisation. Other comedians on the bill include Hal Cruttenden, Ian Moore, Doc Brown and Daniel Sloss.

Micky Flanagan, at the Leicester Square Theatre – 1st – 2nd Feb 2013 • Leicester Square Theatre
Micky Flanagan is doing a series of preview shows at the Leicester Square Theatre, in preparation for an upcoming tour. So this is your chance to hear some brand-new material before he takes it out on the road.

My music pick for this week;

Wed 30 Jan The Spin Doctors: 20th Anniversary – O2 Academy Islington, London

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Spin Doctors’ landmark debut album ‘Pocket Full of Kryptonite’, the band’s four original members come to London.
Thu 31 Jan The View – Jamm, Brixton
The chart-topping indie band from Dundee play a gig, mixing elements of punk, pop, folk and acoustic into their music.

On the show next week – Anthony Malpass and Jet Noir
