December, Is Magic again………

December is magic again, says a song from Kate Bush…..well I guess it can be,as we get to build up to a massive family get-together. Bust up are us….. Still we had a good little show today; as per

We heard the Duran Duran John Taylor is flogging a book, so Twofer helped them out with ‘Notorious’ and ‘Rio’.

We also had another blast from the past, an un-sung act- New Musik, Who’s biggest hit was ‘Living by Numbers’, we placed Sanctuary…..have a gander at the rare pop vid ‘World of Water’>

My Comedy show picks for this week……

Greg Proops, at the Soho Theatre – 2nd December 2012 • Soho Theatre
You might recognise him from shows like “Whose Line Is It Anyway”, “Mock the Week” and “The Bigger Picture”, but now you can see Greg Proops doing what he does best

Paul Merton and Josie Lawrence — Comedy Store – 2nd December 2012 • Comedy Store
TV’s Paul Merton will be joining Josie Lawrence at the Comedy Store Players for a night of comedy improvisation. Other comedians on the bill include Lee Simpson, Andy Smart, Richard Vranch and Neil Mullarkey

Richard Herring’s Podcast, with Russell Howard – 3rd December 2012 • Leicester Square Theatre. The “Podfather” Richard Herring is bringing his Edinburgh Fringe Podcast show to London, in which he will partake in some improvised comedy chat with another comedian.

My music pick for this week;

Wed/Thur
05/06 Dec Florence and The Machine – The O2, London

Theatrical art school graduate Florence Welch is renowned for her luscious vocals and kooky videos. The pre-Raphaelite goddess of the airwaves is one of the UK’s most popular female stars and has become increasingly famous due to her hit singles such as Rabbit Heart, You Got the Love and Dogs Days Are Over.
Fri 07 Dec Band of Skulls – O2 Academy Brixton, London
A gig from British rock’n’roll three-piece, previously known as Fleeing New York.
Fri 07 Dec Therapy? – Koko, London
Hardcore metal rock band from Northern Ireland whose emotive records and touring exploits have earned them a cult following since their conception back in 1989.
