Beckham’s on the Move
The Beckham’s could be seen as iconic figures in the UK with David being a English footballer and Victoria being in one of the most famous British girl bands, however over the last few years they have been living in LA as David had a deal with a football ream called LA Galaxy.
But now that deal is coming towards an end it has been rumoured the couple might move them and their four children, Romeo, Cruz, Brooklyn and Harper back to the UK as they have been looking at houses in West London.
Their decision has apparently been influenced by their summer in the UK, where both David and the Spice Girls played a part in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
A source has explained saying “David and Victoria love America, they love what it has given them, but the boys loved being back in England and now could be the time to make a return.”
“They have been looking at houses over the past few months and the future is exciting as anything could happen. The thing they are most concerned about is giving the children stability.
“What is nice about being back in the UK is that they would be close to both their families again. It’s early days, but these are plans that are being mooted.
“Victoria and David would love the children to spend their formative years in school back in Europe.”
Celebrity Splash!
Last week I was joined in the studio by gold paralympian medallist David Weir, and this week of got some news on one Olympian who won Gold, Silver AND Bronze at this year’s games and was one of the promoters of the games, as he was a poster boy advertising London 2012, it is diver Tom Daley.
If you have missed seeing him on your TV screens then not to worry as it has been reported than he will be back on them soon in a new celebrity diving show called Celebrity Splash!
Following in the formats of Dancing on Ice and Strictly Come Dancing, the show will see famous contestants teaming up with professional coaches who will train them to perform dives incorporating somersaults and back flips!
A source praised the idea of the show as well as Tom himself saying “It’s going to be a hilarious show which will have it all – humour, hunks in trunks and gorgeous girls.
“We are counting on this to be a big banker for next year. Everybody loved Tom at the Olympics, and this could be the perfect vehicle for him.”
JLS Jokers
It was proven this week that the boys of JLS are bit of prankers. They fooled fellow X-factor contestant Olly Murs into thinking he had seriously injured JLS member Aston Merrygold.
As part of Channel 4’s collaboration with Cancer research UK’s TV programme Stand Up To Cancer which Aston became a human cannon ball, which Olly had pressed the button to fire him out of, and as Aston flung through the air he then landed straight into a staging area instead of the safety matt. Well thats what Olly thought had happened.
In reality a stuntman had been the one flying out of the cannon, not Aston, and both were fine. Even though Olly was very shocked, he laughed with the band when he found out it was a prank.
However later on that day he still didn’t seem over it as he tweeted “Still recovering, still shaking & still shocked!! @JLSOfficial you got me proper today!!”
Well you can see all the action on Stand Up To Cancer, presented by Davina Mccall and Alan Carr, this Friday, the 19th October at 7.30pm.
