Looking forward to next week, where I’m going to see Ultravox in Concert in Southend – so todays ‘Twofers’ was two tracks from their current album Brilliant.. We heard the title track ‘Brilliant’ and a special mix of ‘Remembering’.

Here are the Ultravox boys performing another track from their album called ‘Live’ on Oct 22nd->

My Comedy show picks for this week……

Paul Merton’s “Out Of My Head” – 1st – 20th Oct 2012 • Vaudeville Theatre
The Vaudeville Theatre will be exploring the inner workings of Paul Merton’s mind, as he muses on the mighty behemoth that is his noggin. This is Merton’s first solo stand-up show for ten years.

Michael McIntyre, at The O2 – 2nd – 6th Oct 2012 • O2 Arena
Michael McIntyre is one of the biggest names in comedy, and his witty commentary on everyday life has made him a huge star. You can catch him when he plays six dates at The O2 in September/October.

My music pick for this week;

Live soul and pop music from We Are Augustines. With the critically acclaimed album ‘Anytown Graffiti’ under their belts, and a nine city sell out tour in the US with their previous outfit Pela, apparent newcomers Billy McCarthy and Eric Sanderson are actually no strangers to this industry.
