Annette Carey of Annette Carey Couture is a leading name in couture bridal and evening wear and Annette’s commitment to her art, combined with her skills and dedication show why she has a place next to some of the most talented of grand couturiers.
The Fashion Zone was lucky enough to interview the Danbury based designer, in the Phoenix FM studios where we discovered Annette’s early days in design, and her advice for making it in the fashion world today for aspiring designers.
Annette Carey also discussed the two upcoming movies which feature her costumes. One is the The Knot and the other is Fast Girls. Both out this year. One of Annette’s designs also appears in the Google advert out at the moment.
Annette Carey is more famously known for recreating a replica of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress for auction last year in an unbelievable 6 hours and for also designing a dress using 2000 crystals and 1200 Bic pens (as pictured) as a celebration of Bic Cristal turning 60! Luckily for us girls, Annette is holding a pop up sale in Chelmsford at Mustard Bistro, 37 New London Road Chelmsford CM2 0ND on the 25th -27th May. This is a sale not to be missed.
