With the changeable weather, you may find you need to dress for all four seasons in one day as in the space of 24 hours the weather can take you on a
roller-coaster of heat waves to bitter temperature drops.
Dressing trans-seasonal is the sensible option right now and layering has become part of everybody’s wardrobe.
A few things to consider when planning a ready-for-anything look is to try mixing heavy winter coats with summer dresses and wearing pieces that aren’t too precious, so you can store them away in your bag as the day goes on.
Avoid Impulse-Buying
Impulse-buying is a bad habit that often results in the regretful purchase of ill-fitting, ugly clothes we simply don’t want. If you’re a culprit of impulse buying and want to break the habit, practise ‘conscious spending’.
A tip is to try to use restraint: if you feel the urge to splurge, try and make yourself wait 30 days. If you still want the item by then, you can have it! Within this time, you can also become a bit of a fashion stalker: see if you can find it cheaper and look for discount vouchers. Most of all, think carefully about whether you really want it or need it.
