Aiming for Strange

Yet another yummy sounding show packed with great music, all to round off a really sunny spring week. An if that wasn’t enough, the show was excited even more by my special guest.

Twofers this morning came from the 80’s as we splashed out on two tracks from Visage – ‘Fade To Grey’ and ‘Mind of a toy…… As we had the joy of speaking with the flamboyant 80’s Pop music icon, Steve Strange, who regaled us with tales and excitement over his busy career and in particular his new music project Detroit Starrzz……..

Nero is two producers Dan Stephens and Joe Ray, and vocalist Alana. Like Magnetic Man, Chase and Status and Sub Focus, Nero have found crossover success with a big room sound which merges drum ‘n’ bass and dubstep with elements of ‘Nineties commercial house and trance.

The Beatles legend Paul McCartney returns to perform all of his famous hits and 60s classics on the big stage.

The Rifles – O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London

English five-piece indie band from Walthamstow with distinctly home-grown influences such as The Clash, Jam and The Beatles.

Fri 30 Mar

The Twang – O2 Academy Islington, London

The Twang are a Birmingham five-piece indie band. they are considered to be one of the most exciting and popular indie bands in the UK.
