Arching into March

Another week over and another weekend begun…this week I met singer Charley Bird at a family funeral; not the best venue.. but technically means we are related Lots of great new eclronic music again today, and all about to play live in Basildon in May for BASII.

Now this week, or rather on march 8th to be precise, twas the 54th birthday for personal hero and music legend, Gary Numan…

. …so ‘Twofers’, we naturally played two from this electro pioneer – We played ‘Cars’ and ‘The Fall’.

Phill Jupitus will be joining the Comedy Store Players for a night of comedy improvisation. Other comedians on the bill include Josie Lawrence, Neil Mullarkey, Richard Vranch, Andy Smart and Steve Steen.

Sean Hughes, at the 99 Club – 17th Mar 2012 • 99 Club [Leicester Square]

Sean Hughes will be the pick of the comedians performing at the 99 Club on the 17th March. Also performing will be Hal Cruttenden and Paddy Lennox.

Paul Merton and Josie Lawrence — Comedy Store – 18th Mar 2012 • Comedy Store

TV’s Paul Merton will be joining Josie Lawrence at the Comedy Store Players for a night of comedy improvisation. Other comedians on the bill include Neil Mullarkey, Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Andy Smart.

Paul Weller, aka The Modfather, His influence as an artist was often cited during the Britpop movement of the Nineties, and his status as a current and relevant performer was cemented after winning a BRIT Award in 2009 for Best Male Solo Artist.
