“Settle down now”

The hot seat is certainly getting comfortable in the new studio, here at the Brentwood Centre, and it’s only the second Saturday Breakfast show. I’ve just had a ‘half term’ break, so lots of lounging around, small jobs about the house, some Squash playing, music playing, twittering and generally not missing my normal daytime gig…..aww, bliss.

Plenty of good music today; as ever…..

Roxy Music

We had Roxy Music on the twofers, with ‘ Angel Eyes’ and ‘On the Radio’.  Also and as well, we squeezed in a great Cover of ‘The same old Scene, by Modovar.

My Comedy show picks for this week……

Jimmy Carr’s “Gagging Order” -19th Feb 2012 • Bloomsbury Theatre

Join Jimmy Carr as he tests out some brand new material for a forthcoming tour. Might be good, might be rubbish. Bloomsbury Theatre is part of the University College London, and has a distinctly student feel.

The world’s funniest Iranian comic is back at the Hammersmith Apollo with a brand new show. Omid Djalili has had a great 12 months, picking up the best actor award for his role in “The Infidel”.

Boat Show Comedy Club: Lee Hurst24th – 25th Feb 2012 • Tattershall Castle
