2011 Review Part The Second – 27/12/11

The final show of 2011 was upon us this week so thought I would round up the review of 2011 that we have been doing the last couple of weeks.
Tonight we had tracks from some of the albums that didn’t quite make it into our top 25, even though they were indeed fine releases.
There was also tracks from some of the bands that broke up in 2011 along with some tracks from artists that we sadly lost this year.
Our 2 bands / 1 song cover this week was The Beatles Helter Skelter and both covers featured were superb especially the Siouxsie cover.
And to round things off nicely were some tracks that I’d been listening too during the past week that I hadn’t heard for years, such as Fields Of The Nephilim and A Tribe Called Quest.
All in all a great way to round off such a good year and I’ll see you for the start of 2012 and hope you have a great new years!
