The most wonderful time of the year..

Well I hope you enjoyed the show today, felt quite festive with the thought of all that Christmas shopping; albeit online – lazy I know. I did my best last week as I ran a 3 mile cross country race in the depths of Epping Forest no less; well, there is no point in putting on pounds before you start Christmas is there..make room I say.

As well as lots great music we had our little ‘Twofer’, which was dedicated to soon to be Pub landlord, Paul Heaton, the singer and songwriter from the Beautiful South and formerly the House Martins – we played “Happy Hours by the House Martins and then ‘Don’t Marry her’.

Paul Heaton - The Beautiful South: now a Publican

My Comedy show picks for this week……

Stephen Merchant: “Hello Ladies…” 1st – 3rd Dec • Hammersmith Apollo

Stewart Lee, at the Leicester Square Theatre – 1st to 3rd, 6th to 10th Dec

Following his much acclaimed BBC TV series and his sell-out season last year, Stewart Lee returns to the Leicester Square Theatre with a brand new show.

Ed Byrne, at the Hammersmith Apollo – 4th Dec 2011 •

Following the success of his last tour “Different Class” Irish comedy star, Ed Byrne, is back on the road with his new show “Crowd Pleaser”.
